ive been reading your page about unknown players if you no about these players and think there good why doesnt rafa or have you mentioned them to him.am getting to the point were i was a few yr ago when houlier was here looing intrest and going to stop going also steve gerrard just dont look intrested this season ,whats your thoughts?

Hi Guillem, as a massive red we are used to hearing the likes of Villa, Silva and Mata being linked to joining Rafa at Anfield but none have come off (yet...im still hopeful for Mata in the summer!) however today we have been strongly linked to Athletico's Argentinean winger Maxi Rodrigues. Do you know if this story has much behind it? is it another lazy link do you think or are Liverpool reps in Madrid to speak about Maxi rather than Real's Ruud?

A collegue of mine has informed me from a friend at one of Liverpols top golf club's that Stevie Gerrard is on his way to Barcelona and that this is a done deal.

I've read over recent weeks about arda turan's wish to join liverpool.
My personal opinion is that hes an exceptionally gifted young footballer, a captain and a leader, and I feel his character and ability would be a great addition to rafas united
But is he someone rafa has looked at or maybe is part of a list of 130 that rafa is considering?

Any chance of an update on new investors coming into Liverpool. A couple of weeks ago Purslow said there were 6 possible investors that they were talking to... is this true? Has Rafa been told anything? Or is he still expecting to have no money in the near the future?

I am a Chelsea supporter. In recent weeks there has been much speculation surrounding Sergio Aguero with a potential move to Stamford Bridge. Personally I think he is a talented striker and could add quality and youth to our squad.
Is there any truth to these rumours? Ancelotti has stated many times that he will not buy in January. However I think he may be saying this in order to keep any transfer activity behind closed doors, especially after the Robihno saga in summer 2008. We have an ageing squad, a potential transfer ban, the funds are available, it would be mad if we didn't try and sign new players in January.

The Telegraph today says that a group are investing £125m into Liverpool. Do you know if this is true? If it is, I'm expecting a healthy percentage of that cash to be given to Rafa to spend!

I have heard recently that sources from South America are claiming that Atletico Madrid are looking at a Chile striker and a Mexican striker as replacements for Aguero in January. With Chelsea boss Ancellotti constantly saying that Chelsea aren't going to buy, is it Manchester United, who are known to be "quietly monitoring the situation" that are the ones who will really sign Aguero?...Im sure Aguero would chose United over Chelsea anyway, wouldn't he?

Great to hear that Mata is thinking about joining Liverpool because I think it's time for him to stop being underrated. I was hoping he would join Real Madrid again, but I guess that won't happen.
I have one question. How in the world could Florentino Perez not come up with an extra 5 million euros, a small amount, for David VIlla? I think Benzema has the potencial to be a great striker, but Real want goals now and don't wait for players to develop.
I'm still in shock that Villa did not join Madrid because Perez could not give an extra 5 million for a player that scores 20+ goals a season and Spain's future top scorer. How could Florentino let him slip away? Do you think something could be done next season about it?
